Introduction To Tufting POP UP CLASS - Saturday December 23, 2023

Join me for a 5-hour Intro To Tufting class where you will learn how to use a tufting gun, basic rug-making techniques, and then make your own piece using a simple design of your choosing. This is a level 1 course that just focuses on using a tufting gun.

This class covers everything from stretching fabric to finishing the back of your piece.

The class includes the use of a tufting gun (or bring your own), primary tufting fabric, tufting frame (3x3), yarn, and backing materials.

There are two options for finishing your piece.

Option 1: After your piece is glued I will do a basic backing (wall hanging or rug) and clean off any loose ends of yarn. At this point, it will be up to you to either leave it untrimmed or try your hand at cleaning the piece up. 

Option 2: If you would like me to finish your piece with a deep trim (upgrade trim) you can choose that service for an additional fee. I will use all of the materials that I use on my own pieces and I will trim and clean up your piece. You can add this service when you schedule your class.

When your rug is finished I will email you and you can either come to the studio to pick it up or I will mail it to you if you select the add-on option.

$175 - 5.5 hour class

$25 Material fee due the day of class ( submitting your material fee before class is optional)
